Today we’re going to continue our exam review by writing a practice essay. We’ll start by brainstorming the major ideas in Full Lockdown and then work on creating an outline.

Today we’re going to finish Melissa and Rhys’s book talks and then we’ll be continuing with our exam review be looking at different types of conflict, themes, and character traits.

Book talks begin today! If we run out of time today, you could be presenting tomorrow so be prepared for both days.

CCA book talks begin tomorrow! We won’t select an order until tomorrow so you must be prepared to go.

Today your Full Lockdown Response journal is due.

We will be using the play to do some exam review practise. The first thing we’re going to look at are the elements of fiction.

Today is the last day to hand in your CCA! I will not be accepting them after today.

Your book talks start on Tuesday so be prepared to present that day.

Today we’re going to finish Full Lockdown and then you’ll have this assignment to complete. Full Lockdown Journal Response  If you don’t finish it in class it will be due Monday.

Today we’re going to have a quiz on the elements of drama, then we will keep reading Full Lockdown and you will have a chance to add to yesterday’s journals.

Today we’re going to be starting our final unit which is play called “Full Lockdown.”

We’ll start with a note on How to Read a Drama

Then I’m going to have you make some predictions about the play based on the title. Once we’ve done that, we’ll start reading the play.
