Today we will have silent reading time and then time to a practice literature circle meeting so you know what to expect for next Wednesday. Remember, you will need to have the first 1/5 of your book read by then. Be prepared for a content quiz Tuesday.

We are practicing the skills you need in your book clubs. We’re reading The Telltale Heart and practicing book club roles. Specifically, the literary observer role and the summarizer. You will also have time for reading your novels today.

But your top priority is to submit your good copy of your short story in Google classroom. You must also complete your self evaluation which is posted for you in Google classroom.
First you will be previewing the novel choices for your book clubs. You will need to have the first fifth of your book read by March 27th (Expect a content quiz on that day).
Then we’ll go the Inquiry Den to finish short stories and continue exploring coding:

Today you will be generating questions in preparation for our field trip tomorrow. Please remember that you will be eating lunch when we get back to the school and then you will return to period 3, so bring your lunch to school that day. We won’t have time to buy anything downtown.
