How to submit Hamlet Projects

if you created a website, make sure it’s published and that anyone can view it. Then copy the website’s url (not the one that’s at the top of the screen while you’re editing). Paste the url into the beginning or end of your write up.

Save your write up in a file named like this:

lastnameHamletproject.doc

Next go to https://dropitto.me/danikabarker

Enter the password submit

Upload your file.

If you are submitting your write up and project as separate files make sure they’re both labeled starting with your last name.

Thursday January 14/16

CCA essays are due tomorrow to Turnitin. You must submit your essay by 11:59pm tomorrow night or it will be counted as late. If you’re at all concerned about your ability to submit your essay online, then make sure you print off a hard copy and give it to me in class tomorrow.

You must also submit the following:

  1. Your peer editing sheet that your partner completed for you
  2. Your rough draft and any other rough work you can provide that shows evidence of the writing process.

I will accept your rough work as late as Monday without penalty.

Monday January 11/15

We are in 211 today to work on the Hamlet project.

For a sample essay in MLA format complete with annotations that explain what you have to do, click here. This should be review for all of you but we will still discuss it in class tomorrow.

Friday January 8/16

We are down in the library again today but before you can begin working on your Hamlet project you must exchange rough drafts of your CCA essays with a partner and complete a peer editing form.

Once you have filled out the form, give it back to the writer. The writer is responsible for submitting the peer editing sheet along with his or her essay. If you’re concerned that your partner may forget to do this, I encourage you to take a picture of the sheet you filled out and keep a copy of it, or photocopy it and keep that copy.

Today is the only class time provided for peer editing. If you are sick today (like me!) or you are unprepared (insert sad face emoticon), you must come to our room at lunch on Monday for peer editing. Otherwise you will receive a zero for this stage of the process.

Please note: You cannot complete a peer edit of someone else’s paper unless you have a rough draft available for peer editing.

Once this process is complete, you may continue working on your Hamlet projects.
