I heard about this site that lets you create movies simply by typing.
It’s pretty simple and I think the results speak for themselves. I can think of a lot of educational applications, particulary for the media literacy strand of English. What do you think?
Wow – so much fun – I can really see this working in media classes – especially in schools that may have computers but AV equipment is at a premium. Gets at those creation of media product expectations. I want to try and make one and upload it to my blog too.

You’re welcome, Anne! I just keep thinking about all the ways we could use this site. I think of how many times we ask kids to act out scenes from plays to demonstrate their understanding. We could use this as a very powerful way to do that.
